Fireplace Installation
GP&W installs all types of gas fireplaces:
  • Zero Clearance
  • Gas Insert
  • Free Standing
  • Venting

What type of fireplace do you need for your home?

A zero clearance gas fireplace is mounted against the wall. The gas fireplace is framed with wood and vented out the side of the house or through the roof.

Free Standing direct vent stoves are installed into a corner or wall. They are vented out the side of the house or through the roof. Free standing stoves are a great option for adding heat to a room with wall or space heaters.

Gas Inserts are installed into an existing wood burning fireplace. Homes with an inefficient existing wood burning fireplace can have a gas insert installed. Gas will need to be plumbed to the insert.

Venting for free standing stoves and zero clearance fireplaces are similar. Gas inserts require two flexible vents inserted into the flue and are used exclusively for gas inserts installed into existing wood burning fireplaces.

All installations include proper insulation of the space and replacement of any items in disrepair.

"Thank you so much! You did a terrific job custom fitting the insert. We love it." - Connie S.
